Bessie E. Owens Primary School is the G.A.T.E. Magnet School for the Bakersfield City School District.  Owens Primary is a K-3 campus.  The campus serves approximately 600 students who either reside in our neighborhood or are bused in from other areas to attend G.A.T.E.  Both regular education students and G.A.T.E. students attend Owens Primary, or the 4-6 campus, Owens Intermediate.  Owens Primary is located at 815 Potomac and our phone number is 631-5420. 
 

Box Tops Update:
Owens Primary earned $1,113.50 this year from our boxtops!  We are so grateful to our families and friends for their support in collecting Box Tops.  Owens Primary Bobcats will have a super schoolwide celebration at the end of the school year.  Continue saving Box Tops over the summer!
