Owens Primary PTA

Owens Primary is now inviting parents, grandparents, guardians, and members of the community to join our PTA. We are looking forward to a successful year, but need your support.  The Bessie Owens Primary PTA is an important part of our school community. Volunteers are always needed to help in classrooms, create materials for teachers and students, or help with special events like the carnival and community service projects. The new Parent Center officially opened on December 5, 2006 for parents to use to create materials to use with their children at home, or to use in the classroom with students.  The Parent Center is open daily from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  If you are interested in volunteering, holding a board position, or taking items home to prepare, contact Mrs. Barrera or Mrs. Garcia  at 631-5420, or visit the school.meetings are held monthly, usually in the afternoon.  Watch for PTA meetings the first Monday of every month.  All meetings are held in the Cafeteria.
