He was born in Paris in 1859
Artists style or technique:
He pushed Impressionist colour imentation, breaking new ground .
Though stiff, formal, and stylised, the work literally shimmered with light as the tiny dots of colour did things to the viewer's eyes no painting had ever done before.
Who influenced him:
Though influenced by the Impressionists, he lacked their spontaneous temperament.
What I think about his art:
I think the paintings are full of life and very bright. The painting stands out and is very life like almost like a photo but it is much more colorful than a photo.

Killers to the Reefs
During the last ten years more and more coral diseases have been found killing thousands of corals.Some of the diseases are black band disease, coral bleaching, dark spot disease, red band disease, white band disease, white pox disease, and yellow Bloch disease these are some of there many diseases of coral reef. The crown of thorns/ sea star in very deadly to the reef. They eat 2 to 6 square meters (6 to 20 square feet) of coral ever day. Divers kill the crown of thorns by putting an injection in them. More than 10 present of the coral reefs are not able to be fixed 30 present are likely to die in the next ten years and by 2050 60 present of the coral reefs should be completely dead. Some natural things that kill coral reefs are acid rain, tsunamis, and hurricanes. Some human made disasters to the reef are oil spills which cover up coral and don’t allow the sun rays in. Another human mad disaster is Encores to bouts which land on coral and break it off.
The Animals in the Reef
The coral reef has over 6000 known species. Reefs must have these things to survive. They must be at or slightly below sea level; and it must be shallow water 73 to 80 degrees F. Reefs give shelter to hundreds of marine organisms. Coral reefs are among the most productive habitats producing 2000 diagrams of carbon per square meter per year. Coral reefs are one of the most biologically diverse ecosystems on the planet second only to the tropical rain forest in the number of species they harbor. People call the reef the rainforest of the sea because of all the species it inhabits. The hold over 25 present of the marine species.

The U.S. Coral Reef Task Force (CRTF) was established to lead the response to this growing, global environmental crisis.
Coral Reef Classroom project Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary has provided free educational excursions to the reef for over 2,000 local students and teachers since 1991.
