Room 14 is a great place to learn with Ms. Davidson!

Second Graders are expected to know their addition and subtraction facts up to the number 20.  Those who accomplish this goal within the five minute timed test are rewarded with a Math Medal.  We learn addition and subtraction of two and three digit numbers.

        We also cover liquid measurement using cups, pints, quarts, and gallons.  We add and subtract money using pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, half-dollars, and dollars. 

    Reading Goals for Second Grade Students are demanding.  It is important for your child to spend at least 30 minutes EVERY night reading aloud and answering questions about what they are reading.  The more we read the more successful we become!  READ! READ! READ!
